Role Summary
The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for the UK and Ireland region, ensuring complete accuracy, statutory compliance, timely execution, and seamless employee experience. The role requires deep expertise in UK&I payroll legislation, statutory reporting, reconciliations, year-end activities, and integration with HRIS/finance systems.
This position also acts as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) providing guidance to payroll teams, auditors, stakeholders, and supporting process transitions or system enhancements.
Your Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Processing
* Independently manage monthly/weekly payroll cycles for UK and Ireland.
* Process new hires, terminations, LOAs, tax code changes, contractual changes, and one-time payments.
* Validate gross-to-net calculations, statutory deductions, arrears, adjustments, and corrections.
