Senior / Staff Backend Software Engineer

Overview

Backend Engineers play a multi-disciplined backend role, in shaping and building the backend for various public API, user-facing and background features, through to site reliability engineering (SRE) and cloud engineering. They work together with other people in the Product team to solve common goals and to help solve issues in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the backend for various public API, user-facing and background features, with everything from database models, GraphQL/REST APIs, background tasks/automations, integrating with third-party products, to continuous integration / deployment (CI/CD); in a secure, well-tested and performant way that meets our high internal standards for quality, style, maintainability, testing, security and best practices.
