Job Title: Senior Statistical Programmer

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will work within the Oncology Biometrics Programming department, providing statistical programming support and leading activities related to the analysis and reporting process at project/study level. Your responsibilities will include clinical study report development, regulatory submissions, commercialization, and the scientific utilization of our data for AstraZeneca products. There are numerous career paths available for your development and progression.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (or local equivalent) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life or Social Sciences or related field
  • At least 3 years of Industry experience with Master’s or 5+ years with Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and lead/work on concurrent studies and activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence team members
  • Extensive SAS programming expertise to an advanced level within clinical drug development
  • Ability to work independently on the assigned programming tasks
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements
  • Good knowledge of CDISC standards and industry procedures
  • Experience leading studies or activities in clinical trials
