Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, you will join a team based across Perth & Brisbane who support our clients in a range of works from studies, sustaining capital work packages to greenfield EPCM delivery.

In addition, this role will undertake the following duties:

  • The development of designs which comply with local laws and regulations, as well as industry and company codes, standards and practices. Interfacing with other engineering disciplines to ensure all design impacts have been fully considered.
  • Share responsibility for meeting discipline cost and schedule requirements in the production of deliverables, coordinates own work schedule, and prepares progress reports.
  • Design of reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures.
  • Develop a range of engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, reports, technical requisitions and others.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions to meet the project objectives.
  • Ensures technically sound, compliant and fit‑for‑purpose solutions are developed and documented.

You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia.

About You

You will have created a career in mineral process facilities ideally within an engineering consultant environment, with good knowledge of a wide range of projects. In addition, we are looking for:

  • Tertiary Qualifications from a recognised institute, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, with at least 5 yrs experience as a Structural Engineer.
  • Developing ability to mentor & motivate technical professionals.
  • Experience including conceptual, front end, detailed design, and site construction experience – Capable of applying engineering techniques and makes decisions on engineering problems and methods.
  • Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives.
  • Ability to broadly interpret principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialty.
  • High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work.
  • Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable.
  • Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of projects.
