Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer (level 2)
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Type: 3 year Contract
Compensation: $58 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
System One is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (level 2) on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
+ Provide structural engineering services and field support
+ Conduct preparation of designs and calculations
+ Conduct site walk downs of construction sites
+ Develop cost estimates and material takeoffs
+ Provide schedule and staffing input for projects
+ Produce and check structural steel design calculations and drawings
Structural Engineer Requirements:
+ 20+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience or accredited bachelor’s & master’s degree in engineering and professional engineering license
