Job Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and review of liquid-containing structures such as tanks, reservoirs, water and wastewater facilities, and related infrastructure. The role requires at least 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering with specialization in liquid-retaining structures, ensuring compliance with local and international design codes and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design reinforced concrete and steel liquid-retaining structures such as water tanks, fuel tanks, wastewater treatment facilities, and pump stations.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations for hydrostatic pressure, seismic loads, wind loads, and operational loads.
- Prepare structural drawings, technical specifications, and design reports.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards (ACI, AWWA, Eurocode, ASCE, local building codes, etc.).
