Senior Structural Engineer

Waterman Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structures team, working on a diverse portfolio of building structures projects across the residential, commercial, mixed‑use, retail, education and industrial sectors .

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer (typically 5–10 years’ experience ) who is nearing chartership or recently chartered and is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural designs for building projects from concept through to detailed design and construction stages.
• Carry out structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures.
• Prepare and review calculations, technical reports, and specifications in accordance with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes, and industry best practice.
