Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all phases of project construction from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety regulations.
3. Reviewing and understanding all contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes for each project.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
5. Identifying potential issues or delays and implementing solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project schedules.
6. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or construction issues.
7. Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success.
8. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the areas of hospitals, MOBs, warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics parks.
3. A comprehensive understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certification in construction safety and project management will be an added advantage.
