Supplier Development Engineer

This position is responsible for the quality of the product delivered from the supplier to Littelfuse. Develop poor performed supplier by implementing quality tools in suppliers. 8D report review, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, etc. Conducts audit and qualifies new suppliers. Interface between plant operation and supplier. Interface between the end user and supplier when a quality issue arises. New product involvement-design-in/build-in quality. Continuous improvement in the supply base.

About the job:

• Provide leadership and work with the functional team to resolve supplier quality issues that affect quality metrics and the production line. Include pass through part and raw material shipped to plants.

• Ensure quality tools, methodologies, and requirements are fully implemented in the suppliers' review and 8D report.
