A day in the life:
As the Sr Supply Manager at Monster Energy, you're at the helm of the dynamic Supply Planning Team, orchestrating the pulse of our supply chain across our vibrant production facilities, both locally and globally. Your strategic vision will fuel the supply planning for our exhilarating range of finished goods and essential raw materials, ensuring our inventory levels are as electrifying as our drinks. With a keen eye on efficient production scheduling and robust raw material planning, you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives that propel our supply network to new heights. The impact you’ll make:
- Manage copacker and bottler relationship with their production and operation management team
- Production planning (long term) and scheduling (short term) for local copackers. Manage constrictions in the supply chain that may affect demand plan.
- Digital adoption - Ensure system update, utilization, and team technical adoption in alignment with company requirements.
- Manage the Supply Planning team.
- Direct and control purchase orders for suppliers, including logistics (local or international) and imports process if needed. Track and expedite purchase orders by working with vendors, US, and International logistic teams, and update the delivery dates.
- Monthly inventory aging analysis for team and packaging SLOBs (slow moving and obsolete inventory). Lead mitigation plans to deplete inventory with stakeholders.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field of study.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in supply chain processes and logistics
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in leadership role, people manager
- Computer Skills Desired: Advance user Microsoft Office, SAP
- Preferred Certifications: Proficiency using SAP, Power BI, Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and IBP
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
