Senior Support Worker – Bridgwater

£13.64 per hour.

Typical shifts: long days or split shifts available - or and with 1 sleep in a week.

About the role

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our supported living service centre in Bridgwater. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Responsibilities

• Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives.
• Assist the Manager with day-to‑day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support with supervision.
• Order medication and ensure the people we support manage their finances.
• Maintain focus on supporting individuals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories, and people who have experienced trauma.
