Senior System Administrator – OPENCHIP & SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES

Location: Barcelona (Spain) or Rome (Italy) – hybrid work environment. Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator with extensive experience in data‑center solutions focusing on virtualization, storage, and Linux environments. The role involves implementing and maintaining Linux, VMware, and NetApp infrastructure, providing technical leadership for research and development projects, and ensuring project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are met.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and manage RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments.
  • Administer KVM virtualization, Puppet automation, and kernel‑level tuning.
