**Overview**
GovCIO is seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer** to join our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Registration Authority (RA) team, supporting a critical cybersecurity program for the U.S. Coast Guard. This position is hybrid, based in Alexandria, VA, with a combination of onsite work and remote flexibility as approved by management.
**Responsibilities**
The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and ICAM operations, ensuring compliance with Coast Guard security policies and federal standards. Responsibilities include:
+ Adhere to policies outlined in the Certificate Practice Statement and enforce Coast Guard procedures.
+ Enforce PKI policy by validating requester identity and access entitlements before authorizing certificate issuance.
+ Process enrollment requests for privileged accounts and server TLS certificates.
