About the Role
Authify is building Krypton , a mission-critical intelligence platform designed to ingest, process, and analyze extremely high-volume data streams with strict latency, reliability, and correctness requirements .
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who is comfortable working close to the hardware and OS , understands performance at a fundamental level, and has built or operated high-throughput, low-latency systems in production.
This is not an application-layer role . You will work on core ingestion, packet processing, and system-level components .
- Build high-performance system components in C++ and Go
- Design and optimize packet ingestion and stream processing pipelines
- Develop kernel-adjacent / kernel-aware systems focused on throughput and latency
- Work with DPDK or kernel-bypass networking frameworks
- Optimize systems for CPU affinity, NUMA, memory layout, cache efficiency, and I/O paths
- Debug and profile live systems using low-level tools (perf, eBPF, tracing, flamegraphs)
- Collaborate on architecture decisions for large-scale, production-grade intelligence systems
- Strong experience with C++ in performance-critical systems
- Working experience with Go (Golang) for backend or systems services
- Deep systems knowledge : Linux internals, process scheduling, memory management, networking stack
- Prior hands-on experience with DPDK or similar kernel-bypass / user-space networking frameworks
- Experience building or maintaining high-throughput, low-latency systems in production
- Strong understanding of concurrency, synchronization, and lock-free design
- Comfortable debugging issues at OS, network, and runtime levels
- Experience with packet capture, stream processing, or network telemetry systems
- Familiarity with NUMA architectures, hugepages, and zero-copy pipelines
- Experience profiling systems under real load (CPU, memory, I/O, network)
- Exposure to telecom, networking, or large-scale data ingestion platforms
- Experience working in deep-tech or infrastructure-heavy environments
- Engineers who are hands-on and systems-driven
- Strong ownership and ability to reason about performance bottlenecks
- Comfort working in complex, ambiguous problem spaces
- Engineers who have built real systems
