A major UK rail infrastructure programme is seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to support the definition, integration and technical assurance of physical security systems across a large, complex railway environment.

The role sits within a central systems engineering function acting as the Design Authority. It is a technical role rather than a line management position, working alongside other senior engineers and specialists across multiple disciplines.

The focus of the role is the development and assurance of route wide physical security systems, including Video Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intruder Detection Systems (IDS), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM).
