Position Summary
The IT Operations Team Leader must have both technical depth and excellent leadership & interpersonal skills to oversee the Global Service Desk team. This role should have the flexibility in handling daily operations along with more-complex, systems-based protocols that require strict adherence to regulations. In this role the Team Lead will not only direct the workflow of the team members but also interact with other IT business units.
Leadership & Operational Management
Provides direct supervision to a group of IT Support Specialists, overseeing daily operations of the Global Service Desk practice, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues escalation raised to the Global Service Desk
Conducts 1 on 1s and/or coaching sessions on new and tenured IT Support Specialists.
