Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage purchase plans based on production schedules, stock levels, and material consumption patterns
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and User Departments to forecast and plan material requirements accurately
- Ensure timely creation, release, and follow-up of purchase requisitions and approvals
- Review MRP reports to identify shortages, delays, and critical material requirements
- Prioritize procurement of critical items to avoid production interruptions
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per agreed schedules
- Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and resolve supply-related issues or bottlenecks
- Support vendor performance evaluation and supplier coordination initiatives
