Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to lead the architecture, scaling, and enhancement of enterprise-grade network platforms, with a strong focus on Data Center (DC) Fabric and Network Infrastructure. The role involves defining technical strategy, driving architecture decisions, and collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and platform teams to build scalable, resilient, and high-performance network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, architect, and govern end-to-end network platform solutions for large-scale environments.
Lead network scaling, optimization, and modernization initiatives, especially within DC Fabric architectures.
Define and maintain network architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices.
Drive improvements in performance, availability, security, and automation of network platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, cloud, security, operations) to align architecture with business and platform goals.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineers and squads.
Review and approve low-level designs (LLDs) and ensure alignment with high-level architecture (HLDs).
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks for network enhancement.
Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions for complex network issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking and data center architectures.
Deep understanding of DC Fabric technologies (Spine-Leaf architecture, VXLAN, EVPN, etc.).
Expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS).
Experience with network scalability, high availability, and fault-tolerant designs.
Knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, segmentation, access controls).
Exposure to network automation and programmability (Ansible, Python, APIs, SDN concepts).
Experience working in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP – hybrid or multi-cloud).
Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts for networking.
Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent).
Prior experience in platform engineering or technology platform teams.
