Job Description

Skill Sets:

  • Experience with an IBM i (AS/400) operations including job scheduling and management, device management, and user management.
  • Experience with an IBM i (AS/400) Operating System management including HMC, partitioning, configuration, journalling, PTF maintenance, and key management.
  • Experience with RPG programming language (RPG III/IV/ILE, Free Form, Embedded SQL).
  • Experience with Java programming language.
  • Experience with material requirements (MRP) manufacturing software.
  • Experience with SOX compliance.
  • Working Knowledge of Infor XA 9.X; COM, MRP, PDM, IM.
  • Experience with the Power-Link modules of Infor’s XA Products.
  • Experience with Java, including object-oriented design and enterprise application development.
  • Proficiency with DB2 for i and SQL.

    • Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with RPG language (III/IV/ILE, Free-Form, Embedded SQL), CL language.
  • Strong experience with SQL, including the DB2 for I SQL concepts.
  • Proficient in Java, including object-oriented design and enterprise application development.
  • Experience integrating IBM i applications with external systems via APIs, web services and middleware.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, QShell scripting.
  • Experience with management and deployment of IBM i Apache, IBM WebSphere, and Tomcat web/application servers.
  • Experience with source control and version management tools.
  • Familiarity with Eclipse, RDi (Rational Developer for i), or other modern development tools.
  • Familiarity with Infor file structure and layout.
  • Familiarity with IBM i Access Client Solutions.
  • Infor IDF Applications: Link Manager, Power-Link, XA Browser, Integrator Enterprise, System Link.
  • Infor Customer Service: Customer Order Management, CSM, COM_Net (Lexel).
  • Infor Planning and Production: Material Resource Planning, Master Production Schedule Planning, Capacity Requirement Planning, Demand Solutions (forecasting), PCC, OBPM, PMC.
  • Infor Financials: Accounting Management PLUS, AP, AR, GL, F9.
  • Infor Materials Management: IM, MM, PM, PUR.
  • Infor Engineering: EPDM, PDM, PDM+.
  • Power-Link, Paper-Less MES, RMB.
