Job Description
Job purpose:
Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of systems and networks.
Who you are:
Provide L2/L3 technical support for end users (hardware, OS, applications, network basics).
Manage Windows, Linux, and server troubleshooting.
Handle user onboarding/offboarding, access management, and asset tracking.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware, networking, and system issues.
Monitor system health, backups, and security compliance.
Support virtualization, basic cloud, and security tools where applicable.
Maintain documentation and follow IT operational standards.
What will excite us:
Industry certifications preferred: AWS/Azure Associate/Professional, RHCE, CCNA/CCNP, ITIL.
Infrastructure & Systems: Strong Linux & Windows administration, VMware/ESXi, Active Directory, patching.
Networking: LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls (Sophos, Fortinet), load balancers.
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on with AWS & Azure — provisioning, monitoring, backup/DR.
Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash, or Power Shell for IT task automation.
Security & Compliance: Exposure to ISO 27001:2022, SOC2, GDPR standards.
Monitoring & Tools: Ticketing systems (Jira/ITDesk), SIEM/log servers (Splunk, ELK, Wazuh), asset management.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
