Job Summary
At Micron, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Technician, IT who is eager to join our ambitious team! You will troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues and also play a crucial part in determining and implementing IT solutions that advance our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and peripherals. Device Provisioning: Install and configure PCs, mobile devices, network setups, and telecom systems. Software Management: Deploy and configure operating systems and applications; ensure compliance with IT standards. Incident Recovery: Perform system recovery and troubleshooting based on detailed procedures and guidelines for handling blocking issues. Inventory Control: Manage spare parts and maintain accurate inventory records. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors for hardware support and blocking issues. Manufacturing Support: Provide IT support for semiconductor manufacturing systems and maintain NOC blocking issue flow. Shift Operations: Ensure 24/7 availability of IT services through shift-based operations. Audio-Visual Setup: Configure and maintain conference room AV systems and signage solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Advanced troubleshooting for IT hardware/software and network connectivity. Certifications: Preferred – CompTIA Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in IT field services or infrastructure support. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge Areas: Semiconductor manufacturing environment, ITIL processes, and SLA adherence. Proficiency Level (T4): Ability to resolve complex technical issues without supervision.
