We are seeking a Senior Technician in to support students and staff in our Mechanical Engineering section. You would supervise the team of Technicians in Mechanical Engineering, take the lead on Health and Safety issues, consumables, stock and maintain an inventory. You would prepare and maintain equipment for use by lecturing staff and students, demonstrate the use of equipment and support the teaching teams in their delivery of the curriculum. You would also supervise students in the workshop ensuring that they comply with health and safety requirements and good workshop practice.
