Senior Technician/Workshop Controller

The Senior Workshop Technician is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality completion of all tasks. This role involves advanced technical skills, leadership, and the ability to manage workshop technicians and testers. The Senior Workshop Technician will work closely with the Customer Services Advisor to optimise workflows and ensure customer satisfaction.

General Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• To be accountable for overall manpower requirements and correct placement/deployment of the Centre team, creating staff rotas to ensure competence, efficiency and productivity is consistently achieved.
