Senior Test Automation Engineer 


POSITION PURPOSE:


We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead the design and execution of automated testing strategies for cloud-native digital health platforms. This role requires strong hands-on experience in front-end, back-end, API, performance, and data validation testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality, reliability, and compliance with healthcare standards.


As a senior engineer, a hands-on approach is essential, especially in building automation frameworks, writing test scripts, and mentoring junior QA engineers.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers

  • Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrity across systems

  • Conduct performance, security, and regression testing across environments

  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to define test strategies

  • Review data models, mappings, and architecture to create effective test plans

  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and manage defect resolution

  • Ensure testing meets governance and compliance requirements

  • Stay current with testing tools, methodologies, and healthcare QA standards

  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to agile sprints

    Key Skills

  • Automation Tools: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright, Cypress

  • API Testing: Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI

  • Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner

  • Security Testing: OWASP, SAST/DAST tools

  • Programming & Scripting: Python, Node.js, SQL

  • Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (preferred) and at least one of AWS or Azure

  • CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins

  • Data Testing: ETL validation, data modeling, data warehouse testing

  • Agile & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Scrum practices

  • Compliance & Standards: HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation across multiple layers

  • Experience with GCP (preferred) and either AWS or Azure

  • Proven experience in regulated environments, preferably healthcare

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
