We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and JavaScript-based test automation. The role involves designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks for modern web applications, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability across releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable automation code using JavaScript
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements
  • Ensure best practices in automation, test coverage, and reporting
  • Actively contribute to improving QA standards, processes, and tooling
  • Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 7–12 years of experience in Test Automation / Quality Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
  • Excellent proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience in UI and API test automation
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, test design patterns, and reporting
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good to Have

  • Advanced experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks
  • Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) will be an added advantage
  • Exposure to cloud-based applications
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing
  • Location & Work Model

  • Base location: Chennai
  • Candidates should be willing to work from the Chennai location as per business requirements
