Urgent requirement of Senior Test Lead - Perm/ Contract - Melbourne

Requirements

• Must have 8–10 years of experience in test automation with a strong background in designing, developing and maintaining robust test frameworks
• Maintain end-to-end test suites for web applications across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit
• Should collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback to development teams
• Should optimize test execution time and reliability through parallelization and test isolation Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
• Expertise in DOM manipulation, selectors, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Familiarity with Docker, cloud-based testing platforms, and test reporting tools
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Should have experience with API testing, mocking, and network interception
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or other automation tools for comparison and migration
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and visual regression testing and accessibility testing
• Familiarity with test data management and environment configuration
• Very Good Communication Skills
