Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automation suites integrated into Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Perform database validations, schema checks, and data integrity tests.
  • Use Splunk/log analysis for test assertions and failure triage.
  • Validate multi-tenant cloud features: data isolation and RBAC.
  • Execute security and migration tests with documented evidence.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5–9 years in QA automation with strong SQL Server and Azure DevOps experience.
  • Hands-on with Splunk, API/UI automation, and cloud-hosted applications.
  • Proficiency in one scripting/programming language (Java, Python, or PowerShell).

Primary Skills

  • Automation Testing: API and UI automation using Selenium/Playwright, REST Assured/Postman.
  • Database Testing: Strong SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, schema validation).
  • Azure DevOps Pipelines: Build, Release, Deployment pipelines, YAML configuration.
  • Cloud Application Testing: Applications hosted on Azure/AWS, multi-tenant environments.
  • Log Analysis & Splunk: Ability to analyze logs and create Splunk queries for error tracking.
  • Security Testing: Basic OWASP checks, RBAC validation.
  • Migration Testing: Data integrity validation during schema changes or cloud migrations.

Secondary Skills

  • Infrastructure Automation Testing: IaC validation (Terraform/Bicep), Pester for PowerShell scripts.
  • Disaster Recovery & Downtime Testing: Failover, backup/restore validation.
  • Windows/IIS Services: Service dependencies and scheduled tasks.
