Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer.
**What you’ll do**:
**Primary Function**:
Tooling Focal for the Tijuana Metal Forming Business. Establishes standards for, and directs activities pertaining to, the design, fabrication, inspection, and control of production fixtures and specialized tooling.
The position drives continuous improvement while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
**Essential Functions**:
- Design and manufacture Complex tooling and mylars in support of Manufacturing.
- Gather tooling requirements from manufacturing engineering and product drawings/specifications.
- Provide tool usage documentation.
- Guide Quality Assurance personnel with tool inspection plans, interpretation of inspection data, and plans for problem resolution.
- Guide Tool Room personnel in process of manufacturing and repairing tooling.
