Senior Transportation Planner / Modeller - Toronto / GTA
Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of a transportation planning team, the successful applicant will:
Take a lead role in the analysis of travel forecasts and traffic modelling for a broad variety of transportation planning projects including transportation master plans, major new corridor studies, transit planning studies and land development projects; Analyze and evaluate alternative road, transit and travel demand management strategies; Prepare technical memos, reports and proposals; Supervise and participate in the collection of traffic count data and preparation of inventories of road facilities; Train and mentor junior staff; and Undertake research and analysis of land use, demographic and travel data.
