Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end integration of UAV airframe, electrical, and electronic systems in accordance with approved schematics and design specifications.
  • Oversee integration and configuration of flight controllers (Pixhawk / ArduPilot / Betaflight), sensors, GPS modules, telemetry, and communication systems for reliable real-time data processing.
  • Plan, execute, and supervise ground tests and flight tests, ensuring UAV performance, stability, safety, and mission readiness.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, flight test procedures, and validation protocols aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform advanced flight tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to enhance flight stability, endurance, and payload performance.
  • Analyze flight logs and telemetry data, prepare detailed log analysis reports, and recommend corrective actions or design improvements.
  • Lead UAV testing, debugging, and fault diagnosis, including electrical, firmware, and mechanical issues, ensuring system reliability.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, user manuals, maintenance manuals, and test reports.
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers and tuning/flying teams, allocate tasks, review work, and manage multiple UAV projects simultaneously.
  • Support field operations, including demonstrations, training programs, customer trials, and on-site testing, with readiness to travel as required.


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with UAV systems integration, including airframe, power systems, avionics, sensors, GPS, telemetry, and communication modules.
  • Strong working experience with Pixhawk / ArduPilot–based flight controllers, mission planning software such as QGroundControl / Mission Planner / Betaflight.
  • Proven expertise in UAV flight testing, advanced tuning, log analysis, and troubleshooting, with the ability to optimize performance, stability, and reliability.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including schematic interpretation, soldering, wiring, and debugging of UAV subsystems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English, and willingness to travel for UAV testing, demonstrations, and training activities.
