About the Role
We are hiring a  Senior US Tax Reviewer / Manager  to lead  end-to-end delivery, quality, and client ownership  for complex US tax engagements. This role is accountable for  technical sign-off, client advisory, commercial discipline, and people development  across L1, L2, and L3 teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Allocation & Team Leadership (L2 Teams)
Allocate clients and engagements across L1, L2, L3 preparers / reviewers
Define delivery strategies for complex and high-risk clients
Balance workloads and optimize team capacity
Act as escalation point for complex technical and delivery matters
Ensure predictable delivery cycles with zero execution failures
End-to-End Review & Quality Sign-Off
Review complex US tax returns, compliances, and advisory outputs prepared by L2 & L3 teams
Validate tax positions, assumptions, judgments, and disclosures
Ensure all files are  fully defensible  for audit and regulatory scrutiny
Perform final internal sign-off before escalation to Vertical Head / Partner
Own technical correctness and quality outcomes
Client Communication, Onboarding & Advisory
Act as the  primary client-facing authority  for complex engagements
Lead onboarding for new and high-value clients
Handle advanced client discussions, expectations, and risk positioning
Drive advisory conversations and identify advisory opportunities
Obtain final client authorizations prior to filing
Commercial Ownership, Invoicing & AR Control
Approve invoicing and pricing inputs for assigned client portfolio
Track AR and collections across portfolio
Personally intervene in high-risk or delayed collections
Coordinate with Finance on escalations and revenue realization
Ensure zero revenue leakage and disciplined AR aging
Team Development, Training & Retention (L1, L2 & L3)
Conduct advanced technical training
Mentor L1, L2 and L3 team members
Support performance reviews and growth planning
Proactively address retention risks
Build a strong internal promotion pipeline
Business Growth, Upsell & Strategic Contribution
Identify upsell opportunities within existing client base
Support BD discussions with technical inputs
Explore new service lines and client segments
Contribute strategic ideas to leadership
Support scalable growth initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical
Qualified CPA/EA
Deep expertise in advanced  US individual, business and corporate taxation
Strong review and sign-off experience on complex returns and advisory matters
Hands-on experience with US tax software (UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSeries, Drake, etc.)
Strong understanding of federal and state regulations
Leadership & Behavioral
Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
Strong client-handling and advisory presence
Commercial awareness and AR discipline
High judgment, ownership mindset, and decision-making ability
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
