Job Description

The Havells Centre for Research & Innovation (CRI) is seeking a creative and driven User Experience Designer to shape intuitive, meaningful, and future-forward digital experiences across Havells’ fast-growing ecosystem of smart home appliances and connected technologies.
As part of our Consumer Experience Design (CXD) Team, candidate will work closely with UX designers, industrial designers, product managers, and research specialists to conceptualize, design, and refine user journeys that elevate customer delight and unlock customer lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user‑centred designs informed by market research, business goals, customer feedback, and usability studies.
- Lead design processes that elevate experience strategy and design maturity across the organization.
- Translate business requirements into user journeys, use cases, and experience frameworks.
- Produce high‑quality deliverables including conceptual diagrams, information architecture, wireframes, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop and maintain detailed user interface specifications, pattern libraries, and design documentation.
- Present design concepts and rationale to cross‑functional teams and leadership; incorporate feedback to refine solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate, high‑quality implementation of design intent.
Basic Qualifications
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, boundary‑pushing design solutions and clear design thinking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in UX design, interaction design, information architecture, or related roles, preferably within consumer products.
- Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Fig Jam, Maze, and Adobe Creative Suite.
