- Troubleshoot water‑related issues using process knowledge, data trends, and modelling tools.
- Lead improvement projects from idea to implementation, including validating savings.
- Monitor KPIs and take action to protect asset integrity and system health.
- Work with water treatment vendors and utility suppliers to review performance, contracts, and reliability opportunities.
- Support new projects involving steam systems, water quality requirements, and treatment program selection.
- Manage changes to treatment programs, automation upgrades, and supplier transitions.
- Use digital dashboards and alarms to strengthen system oversight.
- Update stakeholders on system risks, performance, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with global water experts to align on best practices.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).
- Min 3 to 5 + years working with water treatment programs in chemical, refining, or petrochemical plants.
- Strong understanding of boilers, cooling water, demineralized systems, waste heat recovery, and steam systems.
- Familiarity with corrosion/failure mechanisms in plant operations.
