Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Video & Animation Editor who is passionate about visual storytelling and motion design. This role goes beyond timelines and keyframes—you’ll transform raw ideas into compelling, high-quality visuals while experimenting with new formats, tools, and AI-driven workflows.

As a senior team member, you will lead creative executions, mentor junior editors, and help elevate the overall quality of video output across our digital marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for digital campaigns, social media, branding, explainers, webinars, and marketing content
  

• Create engaging 2D animations, motion graphics, typography sequences, and visual assets
  

• Collaborate closely with creative, content, and social media teams to bring concepts to life
  

• Develop, maintain, and optimise video editing workflows and creative processes
  

• Guide, review, and mentor junior video editors to support their growth
  

• Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity and creative direction
  

• Research, test, and implement AI-driven and next-generation tools to improve efficiency and quality
  

• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision
  

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
  

• Experience with DaVinci Resolve (colour grading knowledge is an added advantage)
  

• Advanced skills in motion graphics and animation
  

• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition
  

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as:
  Runway ML, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, HeyGen, Synthesia, Veed.io, Descript, or similar

• Ability to create templates, reusable project structures, and custom motion graphics packages
  

• Solid knowledge of codecs, export settings, and file management best practices
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in video editing and animation
  

• A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, animation, and polished visual edits
  

• Curious, experimental, and up-to-date with industry trends and new creative techniques
  

• Self-driven team player who can both give and receive constructive feedback
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  

Additional Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of sound design, SFX libraries, and basic audio mixing
  

• Understanding of social-first video formats and platform-specific trends
  

• Ability to create mood boards, style frames, and visual references
  

• Interest in automation, workflow optimisation, and emerging creative technologies
  

• Experience with 3D tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or Element 3D
