Senior Warehouse/ Logistics Operative

Responsibilities

• Must possess a valid forklift licence at commencement of employment
• Proactive stock control, ensuring regular counting and replenishment
• Operate and maintain warehouse systems (automated / computer-based)
• Demonstrate general warehouse management system experience and proficiency with automated platforms
• Receiving and accounting for incoming orders
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for all stock movements
• Prepare reports on inventory status, purchasing activities and cost savings
• Identify and resolve errors before they become problems
• Handle walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Keep the warehouse organised, safe and efficient
• Take ownership of daily warehouse performance with minimal supervision
• Monitor stock levels of common consumables
• Provide regular reporting and check-ins with the Supply Chain Manager
