Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our engineering back-office team and support the delivery of major infrastructure and urban development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in water supply and wastewater systems design, with proven experience contributing to multidisciplinary consultancy deliverables for large-scale infrastructure programs. This role requires strong engineering judgment, coordination skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical outputs across project stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design.
• Strong background in potable water networks, wastewater collection systems, pumping stations, and treatment-related infrastructure.
• Proven experience working on large infrastructure and urban development projects.
• Consultancy or multidisciplinary design environment experience preferred.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of design standards, technical documentation, and coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication, technical reporting, and teamwork skills.
• Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to all water and wastewater engineering deliverables across infrastructure project stages.
• Develop and review design drawings, hydraulic calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support planning and design of water supply, wastewater collection, and associated infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate effectively with utilities, hydrology, structural, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, quality assurance checks, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Assist in resolving interface issues between utility networks and other infrastructure components.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and support the timely delivery of project outputs.
