Senior WordPress Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a 
mature, senior WordPress developer
 to contract with and work with us long‑term. This is 
not
 a task‑taker role. We want a 
collaborative technical partner
 who thinks strategically, communicates clearly, and helps us build a 
clean, reusable, low‑technical‑debt codebase
.

This is an established production website that has been live for over a year. We value 
good judgment, clear communication, and long‑term maintainability
 over speed at all costs.

• Engagement:
   Ongoing contract (10–20 hours/week to start)
• Rate target:
   ~$30 USD/hour

• WP Travel Engine (core business plugin)
• Hosting on Kinsta
• Cloudflare (CDN, caching, security)
• GitHub for version control
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• All designs are created in 
  Figma
   before development
