Senior/Lead - AWS Infra DevOps Engineer

We partner with some of the world’s largest banks, insurers, and enterprises to modernize their platforms using cloud, data, and generative AI . We are looking for a Senior / Lead AWS Infra DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building scalable infrastructure, enabling automation, and driving DevOps best practices.

Your base location for this role will be Pune or Hyderabad , while you will work in a hybrid model at the client location in Bangalore .

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Automation

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
  
• Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operations
  
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  
• Ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments
  

CI/CD & Deployment

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
  
• Improve release velocity while maintaining stability and reliability
  
• Integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines
  

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement observability practices: logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
  
• Use tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or Splunk
  
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
  
• Define and maintain SLOs/SLAs and operational runbooks
  

Security & Compliance

• Embed security into DevOps practices (DevSecOps )
  
• Implement IAM and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
  
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards
  

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices
  
• Document processes, guides, and knowledge articles
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Systems Engineering
  
• Strong expertise in AWS
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes
  
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  
• Experience building scalable CI/CD pipelines
  
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills
  
• Scripting skills: Python, Bash, Go , etc.
  
• Solid understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and logging
  

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate
  
• Experience with GitOps tools
