Job Title: SEO Specialist (3+ Years Experience) – B2B & Technical SEO
Contract: Full-time.
Work mode: Rotational: on and off site (Jordan & India)
Work location: Amman, Jordan & India.
THE JOB LOCATION INITIALLY WILL BE IN AMMAN, JORDAN. THE JOB REQUIRES VALID PASSPORT HOLDERS WHO CAN TRAVEL IMMEDIATELY (within 2-3 days) AND WORK ON-SITE.
Role Objective:
Own and execute SEO for GOGLO.com, a Global B2B Trade Operating System, with the goal of: Making GOGLO’s product, web URLs, and trade entities rank for anything related to global trade search — across Google and AI-driven search engines.
This role is execution-heavy and requires technical, analytical, and systems-level SEO expertise, not blog writing.
Core Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
1. Product & URL Ranking Execution
Push GOGLO product pages, feature pages, RFQ pages, and entity URLs to rank for trade-related buyer intent searches
Ensure Google understands GOGLO as a product and platform, not a content site
Own:
· Search Console indexing, coverage, enhancements
· URL structure optimization for discoverability
· Canonicalization, crawl paths, sitemap strategies
Improve rankings for:
· Product + country
· Buyer / supplier discovery
· RFQ and sourcing queries
· Trade intelligence–related searches
2. Technical SEO & Site Health
Perform full technical SEO audits and ongoing monitoring:
· Core Web Vitals
· Crawl budget usage
· Index bloat detection
· JavaScript rendering issues
Work with engineering on:
· SSR / rendering optimizations
· Page speed improvements
· Clean URL and pagination handling
Manage index control:
Block non-value pages
Promote revenue-driving URLs
3. Search Experimentation & A/B Testing
Design and execute SEO A/B tests:
· Title & meta experiments
· Page layout and content block testing
· Internal linking variations
Use tools like:
· SEOTesting / GSC experiments
· GA4 event tracking
Apply statistical significance testing:
· Hypothesis definition
· Control vs variant analysis
· Confidence interval interpretation
Translate test results into ranking and conversion gains
4. Data, Analytics & Performance Analysis
Analyze SEO performance using:
· Google Search Console
· GA4
· Log file analysis
· Heatmaps & behavior analytics
Track:
· Query → page → conversion paths
· URL-level performance
· Ranking impact of technical changes
Use data to prioritize:
· High-impact pages
· Indexing improvements
· Product visibility opportunities
5. AI & Modern Search Optimization
Optimize content and URLs for:
· Google AI Overviews
· ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot
Ensure pages are:
· Structured
· Entity-rich
· Answer-oriented
Improve likelihood of product and brand mentions in AI-generated responses
Required Experience & Skills
Must Have
· 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience
· Strong technical SEO background
· Proven experience ranking product or platform URLs
· Experience with:
· Google Search Console
· GA4
· Crawl analysis tools
· Practical experience running SEO experiments & A/B tests
· Solid understanding of basic statistics:
· Hypothesis testing
· Statistical significance
· Trend vs noise detection
