SEO Technical Specialist

EngineRoom is an Australian, remote‑first digital growth agency. We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to own and improve the technical SEO health of our client websites.

This is a hands‑on role where you will lead technical SEO audits, fix complex issues, and work closely with SEO strategists and developers to ensure websites are scalable, fast, and optimised for growth.

You will be the technical authority within the SEO team.

What You’ll Do

Technical SEO Ownership

• Run regular technical SEO audits and prioritise fixes
• Identify and resolve complex SEO issues
• Act as the escalation point for advanced technical challenges
• Prevent recurring issues through strong standards and QA
• Work across CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Silverstripe, and Wix
• Implement technical fixes directly where possible
