    • Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented dining room Servers. Experience in a full-service restaurant is needed. As a server, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. RBs (Responsible Beverage Service) certificated required for CA locations.


    What we're looking for:


  • Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills

  • Skilled at reading the table and can anticipate your guests' needs

  • Team player; you're always willing to give and ask for help

  • At least six months of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

  • Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.

  • Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen

  • Continuous table maintenance

  • Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion

  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude
  • Communicating clearly, professionally, and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfaction
  • Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs., and continuously bend, reach and twist; you're constantly on the move!
  • RBS Certified or within 60 days of date of hire
  • Food Handlers Card or within 30 days from date of hire
