Server Engineer

Lab8 has partnered with a mobile studio in London, who are on the look for a Server Engineer . This role focuses on designing, prototyping, and building server-side multiplayer systems for our successful mobile titles. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys owning their work end to end and thrives in high-load environments with complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and develop server-side multiplayer systems for our games.
• Contribute across synchronous and asynchronous gameplay features, including tournaments, live events, matchmaking, leaderboards, DLC, and more.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and other disciplines to tackle the challenges of delivering a high-quality, scalable, secure, and high-performance online experience as efficiently as possible.
