Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, understand their vehicle issues or service requirements, and provide expert advice.
  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle service appointments efficiently.
  • Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure clear communication of vehicle problems and repair status.
  • Prepare service estimates and explain charges and timelines to customers clearly.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding vehicle service progress and completion.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and work towards effective resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle histories.
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance as appropriate, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with parts and service departments to ensure availability of required parts and smooth workflow.
  • Monitor service quality and customer feedback to improve service processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive certification preferred.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience as a Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor in automotive service centers or dealerships.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and automotive terminology.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in using service management software and computer applications.
