Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, understand their vehicle issues or service requirements, and provide expert advice.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle service appointments efficiently.
- Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure clear communication of vehicle problems and repair status.
- Prepare service estimates and explain charges and timelines to customers clearly.
- Ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding vehicle service progress and completion.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work towards effective resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle histories.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance as appropriate, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with parts and service departments to ensure availability of required parts and smooth workflow.
- Monitor service quality and customer feedback to improve service processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive certification preferred.
- 4 to 8 years of experience as a Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor in automotive service centers or dealerships.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and automotive terminology.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using service management software and computer applications.
