Service Automation Engineer (L2)

The Service Automation Engineer (L2) will support the design, configuration, and enhancement of service automation and monitoring solutions using Splunk and ITRS Geneos. The role involves building dashboards, alerts, automation scripts, and monitoring configurations to ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems. The engineer will collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and application teams to improve observability, automate manual tasks, and strengthen monitoring coverage across Unix/Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize Splunk dashboards, alerts, searches, and data onboarding.
• Design, develop, and maintain ITRS Geneos Gateway configurations, rules, and monitoring templates.
• Implement monitoring automation, including threshold tuning, alert optimization, and KPI tracking.
