About the role
Service Desk Technician
We are currently seeking a Service Desk Technician to join our team, supporting our national business operations from our Perth office.
What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to IT expert, providing first and second-level support for systems and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and tech-related challenges, making a real impact on the daily operations of our business.
- Manage and resolve IT support requests via ServiceNow, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Offer both face-to-face and remote IT support using tools like TeamViewer and Remote Desktop.
- Configure and install personal computers, mobile devices, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Keep our IT environment secure by enforcing policies and procedures.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
- Be a key player in exciting IT projects and initiatives.
- Mentor and assist junior team members, fostering a supportive team culture.
- Create knowledge base articles to share your expertise and streamline IT processes.
About you
What We’re Looking For
- A relevant tertiary IT certification, diploma, or degree.
- At least 12 months of experience in an IT support role.
- Experience with customer service, end-user training, and remote support is a plus!
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to work flexible hours to support critical IT services.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
