Service Engineer

Our client, a supplier of construction and mining equipment is seeking enthusiastic, goal-driven, and

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Service Engineer to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting,

and repair of excavators and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

hydraulic systems, engines, and electronic components of excavators, and will ensure minimal downtime

and optimal performance of equipment at client or project sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and preventive servicing of excavators and other earthmoving

• equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site or at the

• workshop.

• Conduct inspections and prepare detailed service reports and documentation.

• Coordinate with the parts department for spares procurement and inventory updates.

• Support clients by providing technical advice and maintenance recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures during servicing.

• Assist in machine commissioning and user training as needed.

• Maintain service logs and update records in the system or service database.

• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or OEMs for resolution support

Qualifications:

• Degree or Masters Mechanical Engineering

• 2-3 years experience in related field

• Previous work experience with Mantrac Ghana, SMT, XCMG, HMD and other similar

companies would be an advantage.
