Service Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Service Engineer to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting,

and repair of excavators and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

hydraulic systems, engines, and electronic components of excavators, and will ensure minimal downtime

and optimal performance of equipment at client or project sites

Key Responsibilities:

1) Perform regular maintenance and preventive servicing of excavators and other earthmoving

equipment.

2) Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site or at the

workshop.

3) Conduct inspections and prepare detailed service reports and documentation.

4) Coordinate with the parts department for spares procurement and inventory updates.

5) Support clients by providing technical advice and maintenance recommendations.

6) Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures during servicing.

7) Assist in machine commissioning and user training as needed.

8) Maintain service logs and update records in the system or service database.

9) Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or OEMs for resolution support
