Field Service Engineer – CNC Laser Machine Tools
Location: Ideally Midlands-based (other regions considered)
An international industrial machinery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain high-value CNC laser machine tools at customer sites across the UK.
Following comprehensive product training, you will provide reactive and preventative support, fault‑find and repair machines, carry out installations and handovers, and deliver basic customer training. You will act as a trusted technical specialist, ensuring maximum machine uptime and performance, while feeding technical information back to internal teams and the factory.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Field Service Engineer experience
- Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical fault‑finding skills
- Knowledge of CNC control systems
- Higher level qualification or time‑served engineer
