Service Engineer

Job responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on marine cranes, hatch covers, grabs, windlass/mooring winches and other machinery.
• Supervise and manage larger repair projects as a lead engineer.
• Read and comprehend structural, electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Write technical reports and communicate with clients and owners' representatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key qualifications
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in inspection, troubleshooting, and repairing marine cranes, windlasses, hatch covers, grabs, and other hydraulic systems.
• Working experience on ships, in shipyards or marine equipment makers.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience as a field service engineer with a leading deck equipment manufacturer is an added advantage.
