Service Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Machinery, Industrial Capital Equipment. A classic field service role involving repair, refurbishment, upgrades, installations and commissioning of a range of packaging machinery supplied to the food, pharmaceutical and other manufacturing industries. Travelling to client sites 70% of the time, and spending 1 to 2 nights away from home per week on average; weekend work is voluntary so we offer a good work life balance. Time spent at the workshop in Corby roughly 30%. LOCATION: Covering the UK & Ireland 70%, but factory based in Corby 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance, service and support of industrial equipment, including packaging machinery.
• Refurbishment, upgrades, installations and commissioning of machinery at client sites.
• Travel to client sites (approx. 70% of the time) with 1–2 nights away per week.
